Northern Bag Manufacturing Company Limited (NMBC) was incorporated in October 1990 as a wholly owned subsidiary company of BAGCO with a paid-up share capital of N10 million.

NMBC is the leading woven polypropylene sack manufacturer in Northern Nigeria. Its plant, which is situated at Sharada Industrial Estate Phase II Kano, started production in 1992 with a focus on harvest bags for farmers.

Today, the plant has been refurbished, enlarged, modernized and equipped with state of the art machinery to produce a range of products which includes harvest bags, fertilizer sacks, laminated jumbo sacks for packaging cement, flour and semolina sacks.
